I have been working at Hewlett-Packard

Pros

Technology and administrative matters are very well organized, like a well oiled machinery.

Cons

Technical experience is not frequently valued and requires from the employee to work hard in order to take advantage of insights.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Working at HP I have had a flexible schedule.
    Good fringe benefits
    Good place to gain experience
Large company that allows for changing roles

    Cons

I currently work a for a manager that is big on micro-management there is also a lot of bureaucracy. The medical and dental coverage is expensive. It's also a very large company that is very compartmentalized. Finding out about other parts of the company is difficult because they are so large. Worked in a position that should have paid more but didn't because they never changed my job code.

    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
