Pros

Good starting salary and benefit package.
Strong enterprise company with great connections.

Cons

Very difficult to achieve higher compensation, and even if you get it, it is usually very small.
Recovering from rough times so there are fewer opportunities to expand or grow.

Advice to Management

Bring Enterprise Services employees in Canada closer to the core HP family.

    Pros

Great team, everyone was helpful and really friendly. My managers were amazing and they made me feel comfortable, taught and took time to fully explain to me how my work contributes to HP

There are also a lot of volunteering opportunities for social responsibility and innovation
Co-ops can work from home once a week which was great for people who had to commute far.
    Flexible hours

    Cons

Although being very proactive and asking for work, Managers has a high work load and may be too busy to train and give interns work. This however depends on the department.

Caf has a limited variety of food.

    Advice to Management

HR should create more Co-op/intern social activities within HP or with other companies in the Business area.
However, Young Employee Networking was very helpful too. They provided mentor programs but I was a bit gutted that I couldn't join as many of these programs lasts a year, whereas most co-ops stay for only 4 - 8 months.
