    Pros

There is an overall friendly culture throughout HP. Most people are willing to help you solve a problem if they can. The company is looking to innovate and starting to invest more in R&D. Interns are treated well and encouraged to work at HP after graduating. Many positions are filled from within the company rather than externally.

    Cons

Upper management is sometimes slow to implement changes and reactionary to market changes, not revolutionary. Executives are changing often, so at times there is an inconsistent message across the inside of HP and talks of groups being dropped or changed (for instance, HP openly considered dropping their PC business last year).

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop an internal, consistent HP message that unites employees on HP's goals and future. Invest more resources into innovation.
