    Pros

Flexibility in work hours, good compensation and benefits, since it's a large company there are many job opportunities.

    Cons

Process of selection of any new manager is not clear, friendship with the hiring manager is a key factor to be selected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow others outside your inner circle of friends to apply and get the job as new managers.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

You get the opportunity to work with some really great people in a large scale enterprise. The opportunity to do different jobs over the years is great. There is some awesome cultural history at HP and the current management is trying to bring back much of the good that once was working within HP.

    Cons

It is a big company. Even though there have been pushes to simplify processes with some improvements made, it still can be complex to do simple things.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Meg Whitman (CEO) is one of the very best CEO's I have ever been under. She understands the markets, wall street, and also knows what HP internally needs to do in order to return to being a great company.
