Pros

Good benefits, exposure to international culture

Cons

Very clique-ish, which means often people less qualified will be given more opportunities constant Half truths and Whole lies from mgmt can destroy morale and kill a team

Advice to Management

Please develop more stringent criteria for team management and evaluate them more closely and more often.

HP is out of touch with it's employees, and doesn't value them.

    Pros

Household name. Many contracts around the globe.

    Cons

Corporate attitude is a bit egotistical. They do not care about employees very much. HP lost the contract I was working on, so I had to find a new job. In what seemed like a lucky coincidence, they won a contract with a large pharma company just down the street at about that same time. There was even job openings for exactly what I was doing on the contract that was ending. However, due to the way the company was structured, I was in a different "silo" , "segment", or whatever you want to call it, so I was not eligible for the job. However, a stranger off the street was eligible to apply. GREAT!! That's not even the worse part. Even though HP lost the contract, and I tried to get another job within HP, and I did not quit before the contract ended, HP tried to get me to say I resigned!! Of course this was BS, so I stuck to my guns and did not submit the letter of resignation. For this they rewarded me with a status of "left the company on bad terms" in my file. Way to treat people HP!!!

    Advice to Management

Remember that employees make the company.
