Improving, but HR needs to be completely overhauled before it can be a great company.

Great teams and many great managers

ConsPoor opportunities for career growth
When you do get a promotion, you can't get a fair increase in pay.
Those hired from the outside can make as much as triple compared to those that are promoted internally in the same role.
Recent move to limit telecommuting, one of the best benefits HP offers.
Processes are slow to improve and often management makes decisions to just change them 4-6 months later.

Advice to Senior ManagementFix HR and give internal employees fair promotions
Make support departments aligned functionally not to specific business units, too many people working on the same thing, efficiencies could be discovered if those doing the same roles were in the same departments
Allow telecommuting to resume as normal

    It used to be just OK, and continues to get worst
