Pros – Well known brand
Engineering depth
Alliances / partners / distribution
Large company, strength in numbers(?), sometime easy to hide
Cons – Large company, easy for folks to hide
Stovepipes, lack of cross-functional communication
Ability to innovate (translate technology into something sellable)
Questionable ability to execute on vision
