    Pros

    Overall great people and intelligent, a broad range of technologies exist and the HP presence always seems to open doors and opportunity. If you do your job well, you will always have security.

    Cons

    Communications is weak, often mid management limits progress and it is easy to have a limited career growth. It is easier to leave the company and then return for advancement. Often times the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and one must fend for themselves.

    Advice to Management

    There are key management people that can "manage up" but cannot "manage down". This means any strategies will be limiting as execution of jobs can be weak without adjustments. The company sometimes insults employees with minimal compensation and advancement opportunity.
