    Pros

location, coworkers are awesome, direct management is awesome

    Cons

compensation is not necessarily commensurate but what they "can afford" given the circumstances, seems a very top-heavy corporation

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

top-heavy corporation with room to improve upon dissemination of information between all affected groups, especially including "the little guys"

I worked at Hewlett-Packard as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, benefits. Some great people.

    Cons

Nerds making stuff for other nerds who also like making stuff nerdy. No imagination required. Some real control freaks surrounded by layers of protective minions preventing growth and innovation.

Limited room for growth on my team because several senior employees are working in

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overly-complex product offering alienates consumers, complicates internal processes and drags out production.
