  1.

    The number one thing I got out of this company was international experience and a great resume, but not a career.

    Pros

    Terrific resume builder; international experience; a good culture & very nice people to work with; a propendency to hire people right out of college

    Cons

    Far too much restructuring and reorganizing - it seems that it allows a good number of managers to do a poor job and then simply move in order to hide their mistakes; Too many of our managers came from Wal-Mart... you can fill in the rest with that;

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Frugality is a good thing, but encourage your employees to do a better job by putting a carrot at the end of the stick.

    Pros

    Flexible work location and flexible hours

    Cons

    Discontinued pension contribution. Pay cuts. Company image after the Mark Hurd incident.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There is a morale problem because compensation is highly concentrated at the top at the expense of the rank and file professionals who serve customers. People will leave when the economy picks up.
