- Great first class family oriented people
- Good work life balance

- Lots of technology debt

    I worked at Hightail full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Current CEO Brad Garlinghouse has plans to move this company into interesting territory.

    Cons

    Environment is still very political. Mid-level management only looks out for themselves, which has resulted in short-sighted decisions being made that effect the quality of the product. Very little room for growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Put more effort into thinking about the company and less effort into thinking about your careers.

    Pros

    If you are a Brad Garlinghouse groupie this is the place for you. He will let you get away with anything because they all follow him like a herd of sheep.

    Cons

    People are getting laid off left and right for undue cause. Every exec except 2 have been let go and replaced by a "Brad groupie". Turn over has to be 50% or higher. The CEO is a "new" CEO and is making a ton of mistakes. There is no respect for him from the employees. If you stay under the raider you'll be fine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Live the company values...Be In, Be Real, Be Bold. Stop lying to employees and treating everyone so badly. Walk your talk because right now, everyone thinks it's a joke.
