Hillman Companies Employee Review

Former Employee – worked at Hillman Companies full-time for more than 10 years

Pros – medical, life, dental, vision,disability are average. 401 Ok but no profit sharing in over 10 years.

Cons – after over 15 years we parted ways, problems on both parts. Figure something after all those years of working 6 days a week, nights for below industry wages and doing more than competitors require of thier employees in same position. NOTHING. NOT A DIME. not even a packet on how to continue insurance, what to do with 401k, etc. Just heres your final check ON A DEBIT CARD that cost me $6 to get my final paycheck. A real slap in the face. They burned a bridge here.

Advice to Senior Management – start treating laid off, fired employees like human beings. we have bills, rent etc and years history with your company. but you dont care because you are a large company and are "Above" employees. They all can be replaced i was told once.
