Hilton Worldwide – “Good for the resume but Hilton burns you out quickly!”

Pros

Reputable company in hospitality. You can get a lot of hands on experience in short timeframe. Benefits were decent however there is great room for improvement.

Cons

Incredibly long and erratic hours for not enough pay. Burns you out very quickly. VERY high turnover. Not enough recognition for a job well done in many cases.

Advice to Senior Management

Do a better job of recognizing and supporting middle level managers. They are reliable for the daily operations of the hotel so they need to be treated with respect. Take accountability for your actions and work.
