Pros

Great Senior Leadership- re positioning Hilton brand as a strong global hospitality company, lots of growth opportunities

Cons

If you are not flexible with constant change then the frequent operational cost containment and sales initiatives can be challenging to keep up with... But overall, these are key to the rapid growth the company is experiencing

    I have been working at Hilton Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    My hotel offered free hot lunch everyday and there's no shortage of starbucks. I truly feel apart of a team that is all working together to improve our guest's experiences. This is a company I could see myself staying with for a very very long time.

    Cons

    The starting pay is laughably low. I would probably make as much working in fast food or starbucks. Paying rent on that low of pay is barely possible. This is the only reason I have to potentially leave my job.

    Advice to Management

    I nearly declined the job offer because the pay was so little.

    Pros

    Work is relatively easy, and the people you work with are great. Lots of free time to do what you like on a computer, great occupation for someone going to school.

    Cons

    Poor management. Awful customers. Rarely is anyone truly backed for the decisions they make on the spot when it comes to a tough customer, even if dealt with by-the-book. There is always someone saying,"Well, you should've told them..."

    Advice to Management

    Empower your employees and BACK their decisions. Also, don't get upset when your employees do something wrong, in most cases it is because they were not properly trained, if at all.
