Pros

Good Health and dental plans

Cons

You are selected for projects if people know you personally. If you are not known, you will be overlook and further ignored for utilization, sales and project management opportunities.

Advice to Management

Need a better way of utilizing all employees, not just the popular ones.

    Pros

The culture is very "work hard, play hard" which I really enjoy. The people are super fun and outgoing. It's a really fun group.

    Cons

-It's very difficult for lower level consultants to move up. You don't really get a choice in which projects you want, and you pretty much just take what you can get -Compensation not as high as other firms -No bonuses, they really don't reward hard work -hours can be really rough.

    Advice to Management

Give bonuses to reward hard work. Some people work 12-14 hours a day and still only make the base salary (which is below average for consulting).

  2. Great culture, terrible leadership

    Pros

Culture People at lower level (Consultants, Managers SM) Flexible work schedules

    Cons

Terrible compensation compare to other consulting firms Poor leadership, executives with no vision and strategy, they continue to acquire more companies without solid strategy what to do with them. Senior VPs and Execs care about their own future and slice of the pie. Lower people below VP are treated poorly and not compensated well. Poor benefits and training program. Zero external training or cross-training to make employees marketable. Lack of strategic projects, pipeline Business model that worked years ago, no longer works. More of top talent are leaving the firm as they are fed up with upper management, lack of leadership, practice growth and vision.

    Advice to Management

Develop a solid strategy and what differentiates HC brand in the marketplace Focus on employees and compensation, total reward to compete with other consulting firms Senior VPs need to go through some leadership training. They disparately need it!! Too many clueless execs and Senior VPs that don't deliver to their promise or bring any value-add to the organization, neither meet their sales #s.
