Former Employee – worked at Hitachi Data Systems full-time

Pros – The people - a geuine culture of all for one. The overall Japanese ethical approach and the chance of being a bigger fish in a smaller pond. Some great technology to sell, some a little old, but impressive plans for the future. HDS still has a "whatever it takes" attitude to customer service, although its to be seen how long that lasts.

Cons – Current UK management - ham fisted, insensitive and ill-informed. They appear to be attempting to upset a different team every few months.

Advice to Senior Management – Instead of drawing up plans in ivory towers, actually find out how the business works before attempting to "fix" it.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
