I have been working at Hobby Lobby part-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Holiday Bonuses for all employees during Christmas depending on when hired, work around my school schedule, pay is nice, friends with a few employees, Sundays off and being able to do a lot on the floor.

Cons

Part timers due all the grunt work, hours cut off and on, hard to get a full time position, do not always promote employees already employed within company and too many projects not enough time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Could you please try to provide the part timers with a chance to get insurance since we do a lot of work just for being part time if not more than full timers it seems at times.

I worked at Hobby Lobby part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

If you can actually get full time status it would be the pay.

    Cons

Part time is usually less than 18 hours at around 9.00/hr
Management has no idea what they are doing 95% of the time
Holiday hours can be overwhelming(having to work 9 am to 3 am and to open the store at 7 am the next day is horrible!)
Busy work busy work busy work
Truck days are pretty much a 6 am to when it gets done affair. This means you will never have any time to do anything on those truck days as the trucks usually take from 6 am to 10 pm to finish.
