Misleading; they run ads that claiming to be "equal opportunity employer" yet run off anyone over the age of 50.

    Pros

Employee Discount and the store is closed on Sundays

    Cons

    Poor management.
    Poorly staffed.
Having to key in all prices by hand. if something didn't have a price tag, it took forever to get a price check because so few people are working out on the floor.
Having to know what is on sale every week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get with the times! You have several hundred stores. Things need to be more automated!

I have been working at Hobby Lobby full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    good pay off on sunday

    Cons

not closing the store when the weather is bad so the people can get home safely. they say they care about the people that work there but when there is a winter warning out and it is all ice you can not close early so everyone can get home safely, is it worth a few sales to let your people get hurt on the way home? i don't think so, come on hobby lobby live up to your words, start caring about your people that help you make that money. i don't think that mr. green knows how his management treats their people, he needs to know.
