I have been working at Hobsons
Pros – This is a company where you have educated colleagues and staff around you that constantly strive to do better, which only pushes a motivated employee to perform well. Those who perform well are rewarded with promotions and bonuses/incentives on top of decent salaries.
Cons – Long hours during peak seasons and chronic staff shortages in critical support areas (development, client relations, internal ticket resolution) can lead to fatigue and burnout. Work areas need to be more ergo-friendly and computers need to be exchanged every 2 instead of 3-4 years.
Advice to Senior Management – Convince DMGT/DMGI to allow more profits of Hobsons to stay at Hobsons, to maintain better staffing levels, and better workstations and computers.
