Pros

The people are really cool, fun, and exciting. The brand speaks for itself and is therefore easy to take pride in. They care about their employees and provide great benefits.

Cons

Retail and Holidays are kin. If you like to travel during the holidays then you'll be disappointed to know that you can't be as flexible as you'd like during those periods.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a mission statement and live up to it. Set the standard and protect the brand. A & F is a great opportunity that should be taken advantage of.

    Pros

    -Great People
    -Free Clothing
    -This job showed me exactly what I DID NOT want to do with the rest of my life
    -Somewhat Laid Back

    Cons

    -Hiring is based on the way you look, not your experience or capability. If you aren't good-looking you will not be hired.
    -Senior management lacks organizations, drive, and communication skills
    -Poor Pay/Benefits
    -Awful Hours(Late nights, early mornings, every weekend)
    -High Rentention Rate
    -High School-esque atmosphere (ie. Drama)
    -Favoritism
    -NOT Challenging
    -NO Communication or praise given when employee goes above & beyond expectations
    -Required to have a college degree to be a manager(it's the easiest job on the face of planet)
    -Senior Management lacks maturity
    -Loud Music

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT/REGIONAL MANAGER
    -Stop trying hiring 'new faces' for the CEO & focus, appreciate, and develop the people that do work there.
    -COMMUNICATE
    -The high turnover rate is YOUR FAULT, it's not the 'job', it's the awful schedule you 'create/recycle' every week and the way you treat your associates.
    -Please fulfil your promises you make to every associate, this is also why the retention rate is very high.
    -If management is required to have a college degree from an 'aspriational' college, then it doesn't make sense when 2 of 4 SENIOR MANAGERS only have a HS DEGREE, maybe that's why you lack the respect you thrive to recieve from employees
