I worked at Hollywood Casino St. Louis full-time

Exciting working atmosphere, not afraid to put money into their properties

Low pay, bad internal communication, poor management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

A successful company is built on successful employees. A happy worker will work diligently and with a positive attitude. Penn National Gaming bought out Harrahs St. Louis and ignored many of the business and customer relation tactics that allowed Harrahs to be a leader in the St. Louis market. Any transition will bring some growing pains, but this one was brutal. The company was quick to emphasize their wonderful core values for their employees and guests, but are struggling to live up to their promises.

I have been working at Hollywood Casino St. Louis

Fast paced environment, guest relationships, and sense of team until you get to the executive level. They don't care about employees.

Not enough staff, overworked and under compensated. Micromanaging at its finest. Snapshots and knee jerk actions are crippling the guest experience.
