HomeGoods was a great place to work for a part-time job, but I would be hesitant to work there full-time.

Cashier and Stockperson (Former Employee)

I worked at Home Goods

ProsI met a lot of great people working at HomeGoods. Working hourly also allowed me to take time off for classes and other events.

ConsWhile I liked most of the managers, the senior manager at my store seemed out of touch with the rest of the employees. I wish there was more evaluation of senior management, as I felt blame for certain hiccups was sometimes misplaced.

Advice to Senior ManagementRecognize that some employees are smarter than you think. Evaluate employees based on performance and not misleading attributes such as a young age.
