    I worked at Home Instead Senior Care full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The best thing a person can get from working at Home Instead would be working with and helping the elderly. It is fun and rewarding work.

    Cons

    pay is extremely low for the work performed, company state that they are for the workers, but actions seems deceptive. No job stability there and high turn over rates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider who does most of the work for your company and help them when they need help from you.

    I worked at Home Instead Senior Care full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The biggest pro was knowing seniors were getting the help they needed. I also felt the "puzzle" of scheduling and billing to be rewarding when all of the pieces fell into place.

    Cons

    The biggest con would be lack of appreciation. You do not get paid based on your workload, but by the lowest offer they believe you will accept.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    When you have an employee doing above and beyond their job title, a raise may be the ticket to keeping them.
