I have been working at HomeAway

Pros

Weekly senior leadership table talks

Cons

cubicle police, we can put anything on top of our desks, monthly police walks on ego trips take things off filing cabinets, yet senior leadership types have all sorts of things in their offices.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Culture is terrible, everyone is over worked with little/no recognition.

    I worked at HomeAway

    Pros

Great campus - right next door to whole foods.

    Cons

No work / family life balance at all. They work you too many hours. No option of working from home. Sucks! Many layoffs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at your work / family life balance. There are many people working there with kids. C'mon, let people work from home. It's good for the environment and people can get their stuff done anyways.
