Pros

Variety of tasks, working with people, autonomy, ability to be creative and innovative

Cons

Lack of training, no clear direction or goals from onset, lack of staff/resources. Learning curve expectations 1-2 months.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hired personnel from variety of backgrounds bring innovation and creativity. Allow proper training & timing and new employees will shine!

    I worked at Hometown America part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Hometown America has great ethics. working for them was like working with family. They care about their residents, and their employees.

    Cons

    I can't think of any cons about working for this company. I've worked for 3 companies in the property management field, and Hometown shines brighter than the rest. I was very sad when they sold our property, and I was no longer an employee of theirs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The lowest man on the totem pole matters. A happy employee makes for happy residents.

    I loved my co workers but we all were overworked and wearing many hats with no recognition

    Regional Manager was always screaming and firing everyone
