Honda of America Mfg. Employee Review

I have been working at Honda of America Mfg.

Pros – Good pay, good benefits. Overtime pay. You always know what your pay will be because everyone makes the same amount of money. Uniforms. No need to ruin your own clothes.

Cons – Recently a lot of overtime on weekends. 30 minutes overtime on week days. Equipment breakdowns. Employes who do subpar work make the same amount of money as excellent workers. Whiners get off of the hard jobs and the hard workers have to pick up the slack. Assembly is extremely hot in the summer. Uniforms do not breathe.

Advice to Senior Management – Listen to the people who do the processes before changing the way things are done. All plants should have the same standars. If one plant requires sleeves to be down and snapped, they all should. Get cooler uniforms.
