I have been working at Hondros College

Pros

variety of work: electronic fingerprinting, sales for bookstore, stocking shelves and preparing classrooms.

Cons

Hired to do only electronic fingerprinting and help with bookstore. Preparing classrooms involved erasing and cleaning chalkboards. A very messy job for the required office attire.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is unwilling to pay employees what they are worth. The Front Office supervisor should be paid more than only a couple dollars higher than a temp. employee.

I have been working at Hondros College part-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Latitude in classroom as long as all material is covered.
Nice facilities that are kept very clean
    Good locations in good neighborhoods

    Cons

Director of faculty turnover seems a bit high and each new director seems to want to change what the prior faculty manager was doing. No raises in the past 8 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay raises would be appreciated.
We see full class rooms in most areas.

    I worked at Hondros College

    Pros

The pros of working at Hondros College are the co-workers and the students. There is a good group of people who band together to so the right thing. The faculty want to give students the best education; they really care.

    Cons

Upper-management; cliques and back-stabbing; low pay for faculty; high turnover; low student retention and pass-rates; schedules change; corporate thinks they are better than the campuses

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mentor the new managers; ask faculty to the table to make decisions; train the new faculty to teach; listen before reacting; stop playing favorites

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
