Pay, benefits, and location are fine.
Dollar for dollar match on 401K.
Major medical benefits, dental, and vision.
Good training available (six sigma and lean).
Cons
Long hours, bad management, and incompetent leadership are the norm.
Layoffs every few years. Not a stable company.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop trying to be like GE

Never a good word about your work, only critism. Micromanagement is the culture along with being very frugal.
Local offices are very lean. No supplies: coffee, beverages nothing!! No virtual computers to use if you're out of town and visiting!! Very unattractive and uncomfortable offices! Most employees work from home - a good thing!
The year end reviews are a joke! Your input counts for nothing!! It's all what the manager wants to say so they can build a case to give you the boot! Expect no job security longer than 1-2 years at Honeywell.
