Pros

Honeywell (of course) has global name recognition...when you say that you work for Honeywell, people don't need to ask "who are they?"
Green Belt certification was a snap

Cons

Furloughs were really painful last year - losing 3 weeks pay hurts, especially when you are expected to make up the work that piled up in your absence

Advice to Senior Management

Communication is good, but the stated goal of being a "employer of choice" doesn't exactly match the other stated goal of being merely "consistent with our competition" in terms of compensation. You can't expect extraordinary results while offering average incentives.
