I have been working at Honeywell full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    average Pay,
reputed company worldwide.& bangalore is only a cost centre - no stress on business targets

    Cons

    1. In recent years, salary gone below par with market conditions & lot of discrepancies/bargaining happens at HR/manager desk. There is nothing like you have earned hike/rewards unless you beg/threaten :) for it which was not the case in earlier years atleast pre 2009.
    2. Individual contributors take the major stress with onsite customers and are stressed hard without any rewards, You are lucky if you have escaped individual targetting, blame games, and overhead of defaming politics. Quite a few of my associates with strong skills chosen better destinations elsewhere which i feel very sad about it.
    3. Most of the time senior managers have no clue on the project situations & complexities and internal inter group project executions/interactions are pathetic.

I have been working at Honeywell full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Brand name, reputation earned over the years as a top paymaster & technically challenging projects(till 2007-2008)

    Cons

    Post 2008,
All benifits cancelled including food n snacks,
no new project in AERO ..all they do is supply chain work..ie getting Quotes from vendors,do some googleing n stuff,
    lots of politics,
late night meetings with pheonix guys,no onsite,
single digit hike, hike based on relationship with boss,
Guy who sits in front of me keeps doin real estate business during office hours ( like calling customers/going out of campus to show property)
No recreation, nothing apart from EXCEL SHEET n POWER POINT

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ur reputation is already sliding down , it ll keep going in the same direction unless u throw the garbage( useless people who r doing personal work in office hours) out
