Pros

Good benefits, time off, and flexible hours.

Cons

I worked at Honeywell Tucson, AZ for nearly four years. It started out good, but the culture and politics became hostile over time. Colleagues became very difficult to work with and would start and believe in false rumors about fellow colleagues. Management became bent on forcing employees to spend more time on performance metrics than on actual work. I don't recommend working at the Tucson location.

    Pros

Friendly people to work with. Good location. Air conditioned. It is a good place to work if your need a paycheck and not so worried about benefits.

    Cons

Abuse of contract workers. They string contractors along with hopes of being hired permanent, but nobody will own up to being the person who makes such a decision to get you hired. After 2 years of doing a stellar job, with no vacation or sick days, they kick your tail out the door because its their policy. .

    Advice to Management

Don't hide behind a closed door. Treat people with some respect and not treat them as just another expendable asset due to the economy.

    Pros

Vast amounts of process knowledge... old timers (some) willing to share with you.

    Cons

Salary Sucks... really bad. For a company of this caliber... its amazing how low the pay is compared to other oil & gas companies. Look out for your self because anyone above you will not hesitate to use you as the fall guy (politics alive and well).

    Advice to Management

    Pay you're employees better!...
