I worked at Honeywell full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The commute for me is very short, so I do not need to fight traffic.
There a lot of work to be done , but the schedule is flexible.
And people in the office are quite relaxed and friendly.

    Cons

The management is very focused on getting employees to pay more for health insurance, so we pay more each year.
The management is looking at the top and bottom lines only, so there is not much passion among the mid-level managers, and they rotate in and out various business divisions.

    Pros

Great coworkers and good stock price. Good 401k program. Making great strides in technology available to employees.

    Cons

Health benefits are terrible!! Company switched to a high deductible plan a couple of years ago...that's ok. The problem is the premiums are still high and keep going up! I pay @450 a month and still have to pay 100% out of pocket until $3000 deductible met. Then I still have to pay 20% of everything after that!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If going to keep high deductible insurance plan, need to reduce monthly premiums.
