I worked at Honeywell full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Great work experience. Good working conditions. Interesting assignments. Great opportunities for women. Good place to work for the younger employee.

Cons

Youth biased. Does not value the older employee. Compensation gets stagnant unless you go into management , Benefits have consistently gone down over the years.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good opportunities for younger woman and people who are good talkers and self promoters. Shrinking violets will get trampled.

I worked at Honeywell (more than 10 years)

    Pros

HON is a extremely large company, and that can provide a lot of opportunities, and benefits for those that work there and for those that can navigate the culture.

    Cons

Given that it is such a large company, it's easy to get lost in the machinery. Sometimes hard to find out who is responsible for performing a certain task (i.e. many departments are not co-located and have peers located across the globe so meetings often occur on-line over the web and your laptop. Those who need a close personal relationship w/ peers, may find it difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring the manufacturing and jobs back to the US.
