Former Employee – worked at Horizon Services

Pros – Some really nice people work there. Seem to place importance to giving back to community. One of the area's biggest HVAC companies. They offered a decent benefits package.

Cons – Working beyond a 40-hour weekend was pretty much expected. Employees (FT and hourly) given highly demanding workloads. Observed high turnover of staff (approximately one person per week). Most employee exits did not appear to be voluntary.

Advice to Senior Management – Creating and maintaining a culture of fear is certainly one way to keep employees in line and boost the bottom line. It can also create an extremely stressful and unpleasant work environment for employees.
