    Pros

Pretty laid back work environment, excellent product, good work/life balance for most departments despite heavy workloads. Only occasionally requires work after hours. Most people are nice and easy to work and get along with. Health/Dental/Vision benefits are good and cost is great if you are only covering yourself; adding family members will raise the cost considerably however. HR does work hard in trying to keeping premiums down and an overall healthy group of people here does help in doing so. Generous company paid holidays especially during Christmas.

    Cons

Some teams are severely understaffed, raises are pretty much non-existent, unless you are promoted which rarely happens. New senior management does not do a good job in keeping employees informed of what is going on behind the scenes unless its good news. People are let go annually without cause or heads up. Company is a little on the cheap side at times. Some people are not treated fairly; some employees are given more/less privileges than others. Some micromanagement. Sick time taken out of PTO forcing some people to come into work sick.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees need to be treated a little better and fairly across the board. Some feel under appreciated and not a part of the team. Management really needs to trust their employees more; all employees at this company are responsible adults and don't need someone looking over their shoulder every single day.

    Pros

Pretty decent work environment. I liked the team i worked with and most of the customers were a pleasure to deal with. Horizon offers great products for their market niche.

    Cons

The workload was increased so much because of cuts that errors in professional services were made more often. It was pretty difficult to achieve the tasks given each day without working so fast that errors were made.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership was overall pretty decent. There is a project manager there who has an incredible workload but she does a really good job. I think things would fall apart there without her.
