ProsFabulous brand, available reosurces, opportunities to do what I do best everyday, collegial relationships, and environment of excellence and innovation.

ConsLocation and commute, limited promotional opportunities, unrelenting pace and volume of work and lack of work/life balance.

If you can handle the demands for total commitment - it is a fabulous place to work!

Advice to Senior ManagementYou hire talented people who are experts in their field - so please let them do their jobs and stop micromanaging...

Otherwise, you are an ethical and intelligent leadership team, deeply commited to the success of HSS and its mission.

To keep your managers engaged you must be willing to trust them and give them room to grow ...

Pros: good pay people are generally nice and approachable lots of informal parties Cons: conservative 10 years behind the digital/computer age department culture lack of diversity in senior management few (maybe none) professional networks CEO… Advice to Senior Management: pay more attention to staff development get feedback from employees, not just managers invest in process management, not just IT… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
