Good place to work for but without career paths for staff

Systems Administrator (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsSteady work, not too crazy
Salary can be competitive
New technologies keep getting adopted

ConsIT systems and policies are too rigid and restrictive
There are not career paths for staff, never saw anyone getting a promotion, the organization always recruits new people for open positions

Advice to Senior ManagementI have seen a lot of change (not for the best). I agree that the Hospital has to be run responsibly but it is not a corporation. Moreover, HSS goods are because of the staff so try to recognize it.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
