Pros

It sounds good on your resume.

Cons

If you aren't a doctor, nurse, or manager, you aren't rewarded for hard work. Parking is horrible, you park in a remote lot and ride metro in. Bonuses were rewarded with a $100 gift card to Krogers. You have to pay for your own insurance and pay to see the company doctor. Company is so large you are lost in it. Crimes have happened and nobody cares. Shady management. Ethnic groups are favored. EEOC laws were being broken when I was there.

    Very focused on employee and patient satisfaction, but lacking teamwork at the Director and VP levels.

    Pros

    Great benefits, very competitive pay, and a large system if you are looking for promotion. Frequent bonuses for performance.

    Cons

    Poor cooperation among Director-level employees. Cut-throat tactics are rewarded - or ignored, but never addressed. This often leads to stress and issues at the worker-bee level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Address the hyper-competitive and destructive attitudes of Vice Presidents and Directors. This behavior has a very negative effect on morale.

    Pros

    Good rapport with co-workers, great meeting new people, especially some patients. Environment is good and some of the benefits they give to employees.

    Cons

    The management could care less about how you feel about your job as long as your doing it.

    There isn't a problem being professional with employees but when it comes to compassion, they can learn how to use some.
