Pros

Good programs for employees' advancement

Cons

Unit Nursing directors can kill or make alive

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get in touch with staff. In townhome meetings asking for names and units of contributors gives the impression of retribution.

I worked at Houston Methodist full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

You will definitely leave with more knowledge than you came with, because you will probably be forced to perform more than one job role, with no prior training.

    Cons

Sub average IT salaries, young inexperienced managers, socialization critical for advancement opportunities, high turnover rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop acting like the workplace is a 6th grade playground, where the biggest bully wins.
