Current Employee – been working at Howard University

Pros – Excellent opportunity to impact lives of young and deserving AA students, some excellent flexibility in bringing new and innovative ideas to the table. Howard at its best is at the heart of the global dialogue on scholarship, economic empowerment, and other key issues that impact the global Black community.

Cons – Previous administration significantly damaged the development, fiscal health, and brand of the university; unfortunately some of these incompetent individuals are still in key positions of leadership and influence and will not go away. Financial and accounting management is weak and quite frankly embarrassing at times.

Advice to Senior Management – Less recycled incompetent administrators and secretaries, less investments in large "mega social events" more in academic development and recruiting top faculty and administrators.
