Humana Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Humana full-time for more than 8 years

Pros – Learning opportunities, stable company, smart people. The company is acquiring more providers of health services, and seems genuine in its goals of improving patient quality.

Cons – HR is hypocritical: do as I say, not as I do. This extends to their approach to performance reviews to compensation/promotions to policies like work at home. Very smart employees, but many are very arrogant too.

Advice to Senior Management – Clean the HR top of the house; update policies to bring the company into the 21st century
