Humana – “Humana is fun if you like being a corporate drone.”

Pros

All the benefits are great, but surprisingly they don't offer very good insurance plans for being an insurance company.

Cons

Humana is structured in such a way that it takes ages to get things done because it must go through all the appropriate approvals. Also, don't expect to advance quickly in the company because it is not performance oriented - they put more emphasis on experience. Also, advancement tends to be more lateral than vertical. The last thing I want to comment on is the corny employee summits they have. They are designed to make you feel good about the company, but they are superficial and just awkward.
