I have been working at Humana full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Numerous areas to work in. Better than average pay. Flexible hours depending on department. Corporate building has a great conservative enviroment.

Cons

Waterside building needs attention. Not enough college graduates in the waterside building. Sloppy dress code. Some people come in looking completely ghetto in the waterside building. Seen one guy come in wearing red pants and a no-bend hat. Do not recomend a production based job here. You are treated like a child.

Advice to Management

Hire more people straight out of college in the waterside building. Most people there do not even have a degree. Hire more young people in that building. A lot of people 40+ working entry level jobs.

I have been working at Humana full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company provides a ton of flexibility to employees. If work / life balance is important, Humana will usually accommodate your needs.

    Cons

Experiences can be quite different depending on the area you work in. It's a big company and not everyone I know has had the same experience. There is a tendency to see front line employees as morons which is not the case. Like any big company, politics is critical to success. Who you know is more important than what you know.

    Advice to Management

Reduce operation and technology bloat and get lean.
