I worked at Huntington National Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good hometown bank. They do a lot to support numerous organizations and events in the community. Whoever runs that area must be awesome or have a huge budget.

    Cons

While they know their core bank business they're not really sure what other businesses they want to be in- Mortgages? Capital markets? Investments? They just don't want to invest the money or time into growing those businesses. Every single employee does the jobs of at least two or three people- they're about as lean as they can be...earnings should be way better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Implement a training program, and a mentor program. Figure out what you want to do and do it. Do something with the stagnant older generation of employees who've been there 25yrs and aren't contributing to growing the company.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
