I have been working at Husqvarna full-time (more than an year)

Pros

People were very helpful and open for any discussions, very team oriented and friendly. Friday fikas - official coffee breaks with pastry organized by department - was great opportunity for socializing and getting know each other better.

Cons

Not that standardized working processes, some people even didn't have their own job description which means that sometimes responsibilities are overlapping and sometimes is difficult to find somebody who is responsible for that specific query. But this was very much improved during my one year stay at Husqvarna.

    Pros

    Very few. People are somewhat nice. However, shipping problems and constant backorders on products make your job difficult

    Cons

    Sales goals are very unrealistic and Husqvarna has a horrible reputation of supplying their customers. If you're a Field Sales Representative, customers are always upset with delivery times and customer service. Key products are frequently on backorder and the competition delivers finished goods in days not weeks. Upper management places constant pressure on new dealer business. This is due to power equipment dealers going out of business or dropping the Husqvarna line of outdoor power equipment. Constant evening webinars and conference calls. They expect you to be in the field making sales calls during business hours. The turnover ratio for sales representatives is very high - 20-25%!!! If a recruiter calls you for a sales position with Husqvarna, make sure you are comfortable with GPS tracking of all your activities. Husqvarna is paralyzed with complex internal systems and supply chain challenges.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Develop a formal product training and mentoring program for all new employess. Discontinue the GPS tracking of field sales managers. The corporate "eye in the sky" micro-managing culture is demotivating and leads to constant turnover.
