Former Employee – worked at Hy-Vee part-time for more than 3 years

Pros – Family oriented company. Flexible work schedules.

Cons – Little opportunity to become a full time employee unless you're looking for a management position. Younger employees tend to dress sloppy.

Advice to Senior Management – Floor manager's do more standing around and talking about employees behind their backs than they do work. Cash register's should be facing in 2 different directions making them both left and right handed. Rubber floor mats behind all registers would be a plus. Hire more full time employees. Dress code should be the same in every store.
