The employees are fun but the hotel is a mess.

I have been working at Hyatt

Pros

I love the people I work with. Luckily, I'm blessed with a strong group of coworkers that has everyone's back. Free dry cleaning for uniforms and free food (although what is in the cafeteria isn't necessarily to your liking).

Cons

The way the hotel runs is ridiculous. Seniority seems to be second to your actual job title. The same problems keep happening and nothing seems to be actually done about it. Very frustrating.

I have been working at Hyatt

    Pros

Hyatt has good benefits. After one year of employment, you can stay at Hyatt's for free based on availability. It's employees strive to achieve great customer satisfaction.

    Cons

Salary. The fast track is not fast, meaning it may take much longer to be promoted than you want, even when you know you are ready for one.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be selfish. Understand employees have lives too, and schedule them better shifts than yourselves on occasion. Tell them they how they are doing, not just when they make a mistake.
