Great place to work.

Assistant Banquet Manager (Former Employee)
Boston, MA

I worked at Hyatt

ProsIt's not as big as other major hotel chains, so there is a real family atmosphere. Everytime you meet someone from Hyatt and tell them what property you work at they ramble off five people they know who work there. I've never met any person working for Hyatt that we didn't know at least or two of the same people.

ConsBecause it has less properties than other major chains there aren't as many options for promotions. The compensation seems to be a little less than other companies as well, but the slightly lesser pay is quickly forgotten when you actually enjoying going into work everyday.

Advice to Senior ManagementPractice putting [guest] service first, don't just say it.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
