I have been working at Hyatt full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Hotel room discounts are great.

Cons

The pay is bad and the job is the same as everyone else working in the hotel. So Gallery Host is just a title.

This hotel is more close knit than others, very supportive staff.

I have been working at Hyatt full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great upward mobility, tons of locations to work at, and comfortable work environment. The company takes time to invest in you and make you a better Sales Manager.

    Cons

Horrible bonus structure, some hotels are more fun to work at than others. Most departments at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla are very fun, while the Sales department is selfish, anti-social, and there is no chemistry amongst the reps.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fix your bonus structure, it should be plain and simple and not tied to salary, rather, tie it to production.
