I worked at Hyatt as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

The environment looks great. They have great benefits for employees and being in the hospitality industry does yield to other great benefits for employees as well. Great visitors who visit the hotel.

    Cons

Bad management, Other employees can be bossy, rude, and mean. Cafeteria food is terrible, it like feeding employees dog food. I even got sick from eating all the meat they gave us. Stand for long periods of hours. Very hard to return back to the hotel if they have let you go for any reason. I was simply a good employee and I earned an award. I tried to come back, but the stupid recruitment manager for NY/NJ did not hire me back. Her excuse was, "I want to give other people a chance." Like Really? Come on...what an idiot.

    Advice to Management

Good luck to you guys, many unsatsified employee are going to be leaving this hotel. Even though the pay is good, but we are treated like dirt and senior management do not care at all. I am talking about Human Resources with that pencil stick lady that does not wear make-up. BEWARE. She two face and does not like black people. I'm dead serious.
